Venture to a different part of Kilifi and experience village hospitality in a wholesome family homestead. Motorbikes will take you on an enjoyable ride into the hills, away from the main thoroughfare through fields, forests and farms to the shamba of your host Mzee Kombo. You will be shown around the homestead, visiting the small fish farm, the cassava fields, fruit trees and coconut groves. Every visit with Mzee Kombo is different depending on the growing season. Next you will have the chance to sample the local coconut wine, learn how to grate coconut and extract the cream as well as participate in the meal preparation.
